MwenyeziMungu anasema;5:96. Nyinyi mmehalalishiwa kuvua vinyama vya baharini na kuvila, kwa faida yenu na kwa wasafiri...

Kutokana na aya hiyo ni kwamba wanyama wapatikanao baharini ni halali.

Wapo wanaosema kuwa KAA (Crab) ni haramu lakini mpaka sasa hatujapata ushahidi wowote kutoka katika Quran & Hadithi sahihi kuharamisha ulaji wake.

TIRMIDI (2772)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَحْفُوا الشَّوَارِبَ وَأَعْفُوا اللِّحَى

Sayyidina Ibn Umar (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “Cut the moustache and grow beard.”

TIRMIDI (2773)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَنَا بِإِحْفَاءِ الشَّوَارِبِ وَإِعْفَاءِ اللِّحَى

 Sayyidina Ibn Umar (RA) reported that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) gave the command to cut the moustache well and to grow the beard.

Dawud :: Book 1 : Hadith 52

Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin:
The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) said: Ten are the acts according to fitrah (nature): clipping the moustache, letting the beard grow, using the tooth-stick, cutting the nails, washing the finger joints, plucking the hair under the arm-pits, shaving the pubes, and cleansing one's private parts (after easing or urinating) with water. The narrator said: I have forgotten the tenth, but it may have been rinsing the mouth.

Ibn Umar said: The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Trim closely the moustache, and let the beard grow.

Muslim :: Book 2 : Hadith 500

Ibn Umar said: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be opon him) said: Act against the polytheists, trim closely the moustache and grow beard.

Muslim :: Book 2 : Hadith 501

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Trim closely the moustache, and grow beard, and thus act against the fire-worshippers.

Narrated Ibn 'Umar:
Allah's Apostle said, "Cut the moustaches short and leave the beard (as it is)."

Ibn Umar said: The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) ordered us to trim the moustache closely and spare the beard.
